ABOUT THE RUSSELLS

Dr. Walter Russell mastered an array of talents, so much so, he was called the modern day Leonardo DaVinci. He was a celebrated illustrator, painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, and philosopher. Dr. Russell authored numerous books such as, The Message of the Divine Iliad, The Universal One, and The Secret of Light.

In 1946 Glenn Clark wrote a powerful biography about Russell's life, entitled The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe. Nikola Tesla, a scientific friend of Walter Russell, told him to lock his science up in a vault for a thousand years until humanity would be ready for it.

Walter's great love and partner in life, Lao Russell, was a philosopher, author, lecturer, and businesswoman. She stewarded her husband's works for 40 years at the historic landmark, Swannanoa Palace atop Afton Mountain. The USP opened its new headquarters in Waynesboro, Virginia at The Russell Museum in 2019.

The Russells' Living Philosophy message comes at a most crucial time in world history.

It gives us direction and purpose for bringing our lives and our planet into balance and peace. It challenges us that God will work with us, but not for us. It's a message that continues to inspire others search for peace and knowledge in a challenging world.

The lifeworks of Walter and Lao Russell are on display at the museum for all to see. For more information, visit us at www.therussellmuseum.org or contact via email at store@philosophy.org or phone at 1-800-882-LOVE(5683).
