ABOUT
The University of Science and Philosophy (USP) is a 501-c-3 educational organization founded by Dr. Walter and Lao Russell in 1948. The USP is devoted to the Science of Spiritual Man and the Cosmos, with the aim of teaching the essentials of harmony found in the world's religions/philosophies and in the fine arts and sciences.
The University of Science and Philosophy does not advocate for any one established religion, creed, dogma, or form of worship. Instead, it is a worldwide home study university with a student body that is actively engaged and growing to this very day.
Walter and Lao Russell recognized there were many widely studied fields of science.
However, the science of man was the one field of science that was least understood. It was their belief that discovering one's own special destiny and purpose was the greatest realization that can happen to any soul.
They understood that this self-discovery came to an individual only when s/he learned to live life in harmony with the Universal Law of Rhythmic Balanced Interchange. To help individuals achieve this harmony, Walter and Lao created the Home Study Course for students to deepen their understanding of themselves and of Universal Law.
Thousands of students each year from every continent enroll in this incredible course to further enrich their lives.
