The classical world saw reading speeds that double our contemporary rates. Students in older societies had a level of comprehension almost unbelievable now. Even colonial America had literacy rates and intellectual skills that are missing today. How can we expect teachers and administrators to teach these skills when they themselves were not made aware of them? This seminar reintroduces the learning tools that can double reading speeds and deepen comprehension for students of any age - tools that were even the subject of popular books and talk shows in the late 20th Century but are sadly absent in the present educational system.
